Fishing
on the
River Una
Fishing on the Krajna beauty Una
In its offer, Zlatna Nit Resort offers you unique fishing on the queen of rivers and beauty – the river Una. In addition to numerous magical eddies, waterfalls, bays and whirlpools, on which cranes juggle in winter, it hides various types of fish along with other animal and plant life in its bosom. Whiskered catfish, pike, carp, trout, and especially juveniles whose specimens reach a size of over a meter, among others, are the most famous types of fish in the river Una.
In recent times, sport and recreational fishing is the most common pastime for nature lovers who visit the National Park as tourists, enjoying fly fishing, as well as other fishing methods that are common and allowed on the clear and cold waters of the Una and Unac rivers.
Many anglers from the region and Europe are familiar with the current fly-fishing grounds Unac and Una, and the new fishing organization has created conditions for further popularization of this sport on these two rivers.
